#Topic: AI Digital Twin: A New Mirror of Medicine with NVIDIA
#Abstract:
As healthcare continues its digital transformation, AI-powered digital twins are emerging as a groundbreaking paradigm—offering real-time, personalized, and data-rich replicas of the human body. This presentation explores how AI technology, in collaboration with NVIDIA’s cutting-edge platforms—Omniverse and COSMOS—is pioneering next-generation digital twins that transcend conventional imaging and diagnostics. By converting 2D medical data, such as X-rays and CT scans, into fully immersive and interactive 3D anatomical models, AI digital twins are becoming essential tools not only for diagnosis and treatment, but also for medical education, surgical planning, and public health. With over 127 anatomical structures reconstructed with pixel-level precision, our technology redefines what it means to "see" inside the human body. NVIDIA Omniverse powers the real-time simulation, collaboration, and photorealistic rendering of anatomical models, enabling clinicians and educators to explore the human body within a fully virtualized and physically accurate environment. In parallel, NVIDIA COSMOS accelerates the development, training, and deployment of AI models in medical imaging, ensuring that digital twins are not just visually accurate, but clinically intelligent—capable of segmenting, predicting, and adapting to patient-specific data. This lecture will showcase real-world applications of AI digital twins in clinical settings, including their role in precision diagnostics and surgical planning, and highlight their seamless integration with NVIDIA’s high-performance computing and visualization stack. Particular attention will be given to the opportunities this convergence presents for institutions like SNUH in leading the next wave of intelligent, patient-centric medicine. Join us as we reflect on the future of medicine—through the lens of its most intelligent and interactive mirror yet.
