The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Seoul National University will host a special lecture titled "The Baekbeom Kim Gu I Know" on April 8, 2025, to commemorate the inauguration of the Kim Gu Forum. The speaker will be Lee Jong-chan, Chairman of the Korean Liberation Association.
The Kim Gu Forum, established by the Kim Gu Foundation, will be the first of its kind at Seoul National University, following installations at Harvard University, Peking University, and National Taiwan University. The foundation will support its operation for the next 10 years, during which an operating committee within SNU’s GSIS will facilitate lectures, seminars, international academic conferences, and fellowships. The forum aims to present visions related to Korea's peace, diplomacy, and culture, as well as strengthen exchanges and joint research with major universities abroad.
