The "Global Korea" cluster of the National Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University is hosting a dialogue featuring Choi Sang-hoon, the Seoul Bureau Chief of The New York Times, and Jeon Soo-jin, a reporter from JoongAng Ilbo.

Title of the Lecture: In a Time of Turmoil: The Media's Perspective on the Global Path of Korea

Date and Location: October 8 (Tuesday) from 16:30 to 18:00, Ewha Hall, Asia Center, Seoul National University

This dialogue follows a series of discussions held in the first semester of 2024, including topics such as "US-China Relations and the Taiwan Issue" (Dr. Thomas Christensen), "China's Historical Manipulation and Global Media Control" (Dr. Katy Oh), "Strategic Vietnam Invasion and Joseon's Diplomacy toward Ming" (Professor Ku Beom-jin), and the "International Development Cooperation Policy Roundtable" (Pedro Conceição, Director of the UN Development Programme's Human Development Report Office). This will be the first dialogue held in the second semester of 2024.
