The College of Fine Arts at Seoul National University has been conducting a career special lecture series for art major students since the second semester of 2022. In 2024, we will invite 12 experts who are active in and out of the art world to share diverse attitudes and thoughts about art and life. We encourage everyone to participate and gain insights into shaping their own futures.

1. Pyeon So-jung / Craftsman

Time: 7:00–8:30 PM
Lecture Topic: Creating a Crafts Brand A to Z
This lecture will cover the essential paperwork and administrative aspects needed to start a craft brand. I will share how I earn a living as a full-time craft artist and what kind of projects I plan to propose to the market in the future.

2. Kim Bo-young / Art Director at SBS A&T

Time: 8:30–10:00 PM
Lecture Topic: The Work of an Art Director in Drama
I will introduce the role of a drama art director and share experiences from the broadcast industry. I will present visual materials related to the design processes and outcomes of recent works I participated in, such as Taxi Driver 2 and The Chaebol's Daughter. This is aimed at students interested in stage design and the career of an art director.
