SNU ID

In order to use major on-campus services such as mail, MySNU, academic administration (grade inquiry, course registration, etc.), and e-learning (eTL), you must obtain a SNU ID, and you can apply for one online at MySNU (portal).

MySNU is the SNU portal and the official access channel for all online services provided by the SNU. A separate SNU mobile app is also available for mobile users.

SNU mobile app

SNU mobile app is a channel that provides information services anytime, anywhere. You can search for ‘Seoul National University’ in the mobile download app (App Store, Google Play Store, One Store) and download it or access it through Mobile MySNU. The services provided are as follows.

Electronic attendance, mail, electronic approval, shuttle location, S-Card, cafeteria menu, campus map, etc.

Academic Administration

In the Academic Administration, you can use various academic-related services such as scholarship application, course search, grade search, leave of absence/return application, certificate issuance, etc. In particular, if you set your mobile phone number and SMS reception option in the address and contact information section of My Information, you can receive academic administration information provided by the SNU.

SNUgenie snugenie.snu.ac.kr

SNUgenie is an academic information search and recommendation service that recommends courses and extracurricular programs based on your course attendance status and interests.

SNU provides an online learning management system to support remote classes and learning activities (assignments, quizzes, discussions, etc.).

Mail

SNU mail service is provided as a cloud service, and you can use Dooray or Google mail depending on your member group. You can access it through the SNU Portal (MySNU) or through a separate web/app for each mail system.

Dooray mail(mySNU - Tasks&Mail or Administration&Tasks - Dooray): Current faculties/Staff, Emeritus professors, business accounts

Google mail(mail.google.com): Students (current Students and graduates), retired faculty and staff

Wi-Fi(Wireless internet)

SNU wireless LAN is 'eduroam' and can be used with a SNU email ID.(id@snu.ac.kr / ‘mySNU’password) In addition, you can use wireless services from the three telecommunications companies (T wifi zone, kt_SNU, and SNU_U+Zone) for free. Campus License Software

SNU supports the free use of software widely used in education, research, and administrative work by SNU members. Campus license software can be downloaded by logging into mySNU on campus.

Windows, Hangul, MS Office, V3, Altools(Alzip, AlSee, AlPDF), Statistical programs (SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.), MATLAB, ChemDraw, etc.

IT equipment rental service

SNU members can rent IT equipment for a fee from the Information Technology Center (ITSC). (mySNU - Campus Life – IT Services - IT Requests(ITSM))

Gwanak Campus: Laptop(1,000 KRW/Day)

Yeongeon Campus: Laptop(1,000 KRW/Day), Camcorder(7,000 KRW/Day), Camera(4,000 KRW/Day), DVD Player(Free)
